Tresenting Traditions was born from love, loss, friendship, and the belief that Christmas memories deserve to be cherished. After losing my son in 2019, I could not bring myself to decorate for Christmas. My best friend arrived with ribbon, decorations, and enough holiday spirit for both of us. As she helped bring Christmas back into my home, we joked that she wasn’t simply trimming my tree—she was giving me the gift of Christmas. That day, the word Tresenting was born: decorating as a heartfelt present that brings joy, comfort, and connection.

Years later, as my parents downsized, I saw how deeply our holiday decorations hold our family stories. Ornaments, nativities, wreaths, and keepsakes are more than décor—they are reminders of the people we love and the moments we never want to forget. Today, Tresenting Traditions helps families create beautiful holiday spaces filled with meaning, whether preserving treasured traditions or beginning new ones. Because Christmas isn’t really about what’s under the tree. It’s about the memories made around it.
